Unions and Indigenous Groups Set National Mobilization for Wednesday
Labor unions, Indigenous organizations and other civil society groups are preparing a national mobilization for October 14 over labor, education and territorial concerns.

A broad coalition of unions, Indigenous organizations and other groups is set to take to the streets on Wednesday, October 14, according to a report by EFE. The mobilization centers on grievances related to labor conditions, education, territorial rights and concerns about government decisions and protest rules.
The report described the event as planned but not yet held as of Monday. Organizers have framed the mobilization as a response to policies and decisions by the de la Espriella administration, which has been in office since August 7.
Large-scale civil society mobilizations have been a recurring feature of Colombian political life in recent years. Wednesday's march will be an early test of how the new government navigates public dissent.
